1.1 Renaming and saving a file with the .html extension

Before starting to develop a program in the HTML language it is necessary to become familiar with some simple operations, such as renaming and saving a file on your computer. By default, a file called new 1 is created (see Figure 1). To change the name and save the file, you should perform the following steps:

1. Place the mouse cursor over the item File (Figure 1).
2. Click the left mouse button. On the monitor, an image similar to that in Figure 2 will appear.
3. Move the cursor to the line Save as (No.1, Figure 2) and click the left mouse button. On the monitor screen, an image similar to that in Figure 3 will appear.
4. Enter a new file name, for instance, Example1.html (Figure 3) and click on the button Save. On the monitor, an image including the new name Example1.html, similar to that in Figure 4, will appear.
